Anne Cooper raised three children – which I believe, with an ounce of bias as one of them, turned out to be quite incredible people. With her firm hand to guide them along the way, two children have graduated top of their degrees and have set sail abroad. While the third child pumped full of her Mother’s ambition is halfway through achieving her goal of also graduating top. Years of double checking our homework, years of making sure we had the healthiest school lunches, years of carting us around to our hockey games or debates and years of ensuring every day is riddled with fun has meant that we have been able to make the most of every opportunity weaved through our lives.

Anne Cooper might have raised three children but through-out her life she has raised over a thousand as she started as a primary school teacher helping children to cross their t’s and dot their I’s. With ambition, a drive and a fervent passion thriving within her she climbed the ladder of success and became Assistant Principal at Tauranga Girls’ College where she helped re-craft the lives of students floundering round the borders of trouble and where she also pushed excelling students so they transcended their potential. Her attributes have seen her achieve her dreams to become a Principal where she continues to lace her positive influence on the children and staff she cares for as much as her own family.
