I wish to Nominate my Dad, Ashley Boorer for a Grabbie 2008.
Earlier this year my Mum suffered a huge brain anerysm and stroke, and due to this she know lives in a group home and rehabilitation centre. This caused a great amount of pressure on my Dad as it involved his life being turned around completely. He has been strong throughout the time Mum got sick and has tried to balance things as best as possible. He now still works fulltime, runs the household, sees my Mum everyday and still mananges to put time in to other things such as running car club events and helping out at the mayors breakfast and other events in Dunedin.
So I think my Dad deserves a grabbie-so he can have a holiday just for him-as he would never spend the money to go on one himself as he says it could be used on something more important.Good luck Dad!

What are the grabbies?
As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.
