I would like to nominate my amazing mother, Susan. Raising me and my Down Syndrome sister by herself, while working full-time, must be rather trying at times, yet she is constantly positive and never complains. She is not only my mum, but also my best friend, my role-model and my hero. My mother has given us the best life she could positively give us- by age 15 and 16, we have travelled all around the world, including Russia, France, Italy and the UK, in her attempt to broaden our minds. Mum has given us a fabulous start in life, and we carry so many wonderful childhood memories dear to our hearts. Not only of all the things she have given us, but of her love, support and her always being there for us. This competition is our chance to give her a well-deserved something back for all the lovely things she has done for us over the years.'
