What are the grabbies?

As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.

You can nominate or vote for those inspirational kiwis making a difference in your life and the lives of your friends and family. They may be people in your community, at work, at school, in your church or social group.

What's the prize?

The 250 inspirational kiwis who receive the most votes will earn $1 return airfares for themselves and a companion to travel within New Zealand. They can choose to travel to any of our 26 dometic destinations.

Craig Barkle

I would like to nominate Craig Barkle.

Craig does a tireless, volunteer coaching job of the Hawkes Bay U15 girls soccer Rep team. He has just taken them away to their tournament in Gisborne.

Preceding this they were having 2 coaching sessions per week as well as all the stress that goes along with taking girls away to a tournament and getting the best results out of them.

He also has a fulltime job and is about to undergo coaching the U16 Federation girls soccer team, which will mean that from now until April next year when the competition will be held, he will have to travel from Napier to Palmerston North every fortnight for practises, and all this is done voluntarily without payment, so I think that he and his wife Karen deserve to be considered for these $1.00 flights for a break somewhere in NZ.
