FIONA IS MY HERO

My mum deserves this sooo much!!!!In August 2008, her father passed away. She then spent every day at the hospital looking after her father, and then at night, looking after her mother, she still finds time to do Nana's gardens. And somehow she found the time to look after my little brothers and my father. My dad recently quit his job because of stress. He went through some hard times,but my mum stuck by him through it all, no matter what she was going through. Not even a month after my granddads funeral (which my mum organized) we found out that my cousin is extremely sick with brain cancer, my mum instantly left nelson to go to Christchurch to be with her sister (my cousins mum). While in Christchurch mum found out that my brother was admitted to hospital with pneumonia, and my other brother ended up in hospital after he put his knee out at work. While all this was going on, she helped me through my decision to postpone my wedding. When things were looking better, one of her close friends had her daughter almost die. This year everything has been thrown at my mum. But she has stood tall and strong!!! I idolize my mother. She is graceful, caring, loving, devoted and strong. She is an amazing mother!!! I am so lucky to have such a strong woman as my role model.
