I nominate Paul Zarifeh

I nominate Paul Zarifeh. Paul is my husband of twenty years, and I am nominating him because I believe he deserves a well-earned break! ( and me, a chance to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in style)! Paul owns a wetsuit manufacturing business in Christchurch in which he works tirelessly, 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. He is passionate about his products and has remained loyal to the 'Buy NZ made' campaign, manufacturing 100% of his merchandise (wetsuits and neoprene water sport products) in his Christchurch factory, in spite of increasing competition from imported products. He has a very loyal staff, many of whom have been with him for years, and eternally loyal family ( wife and three teenage children), of whom he is forever supportive and a great mentor and coach in all of their academic and sporting pursuits. He is also a person who is immensely supportive of youngsters in their pursuit of water sports, to the extent of sponsoring, by way of product, several young athletes in the spheres of surfing and sailing. Paul recently won two Canterbury retail awards, one for excellence in innovation in retailing, this is a testament to his hard work, foresight and commitment to excellent service and kiwi-made products. As such I believe he would fully appreciate winning a prize on another superior kiwi service, AIR NZ, and is totally deserving of such recognition.
