I can not think of a more deserving recipient of this airfare than Lewis Christie, a very close friend who I've known since childhood. Despite being a very caring and considerate individual, he has not always been returned this courtesy and I have seen him struggle through very difficult times due to pestering, bullying and exclusion thanks to some truly despicable people in the community. Lewis is always willing to lend a hand, helping people he barely knows by fixing and building around their homes, cooking for those without the time or money, and even helping acquire furniture and household essentials to a friend who lost everything due to issues with a badly chosen flatmate. Needless to say Lewis has been of significant mental support through this ordeal also.He was constantly bullied and mistreated at school, relying on his good friend Scott to stand up for him (this was before I knew him). Despite this bullying he always stood up for his beliefs and was the first to step in as support if anyone else was being treated unfairly. Due to close family and friends moving to Christchurch, Lewis has really been feeling very down and depressed. He is extremely dedicated and hard working - therefore hasn't been able to get to Christchurch for ages. I think this ticket is exactly what he needs, as he deserves to see those he loves and perhaps they can help him through these difficult times. Please vote for Lewis!Thanks, Leo
