We would like to nominate our amazing superMUM. 6 years ago our dad was involved in a tragic work accident leaving him a paraplegic with a severe traumatic brain injury. This day was hard for everyone as we lost the dad we knew however it was the hardest by far on Mum and continues to be. Ever since she has always put us kids first no matter what and is a huge support for Dad. She works fulltime and never has a day to herself to do what she wants as she is sole caregiver of Dad in the weekends, doing all the jobs around the house and supporting our younger brother. Mum always puts everyone else in front of herself whether its family, friends or workmates. She has always made sure that us kids have never missed out on opportunities because of the accident and is currently supporting us twins at University. She's the most selfless person we know and we can't remember the last time she had a break for herself. Many people would not have coped with this situation but Mum automatically became our rock without complaint and still manages to always have a smile. We have always wanted to show our appreciation for making our lives so normal and always being there for us no matter what. She really deserves a break and needs a holiday so this would be the perfect opportunity to do so. WE LOVE YOU MUM and THANKS SOOOOO MUCH FOR BEING OUR ROCK :) Tara, Nicole and Chad xox

What are the grabbies?

Lindy as we call her, is my two best friends mum. She always makes our friends so welcome when we visit home in Taranaki. Studying in Dunedin the twins do not get to see their Mum very much during the year and it would mean so much if she could have the opportunity to fly down to have a break and visit us all.
