What are the grabbies?

As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.

You can nominate or vote for those inspirational kiwis making a difference in your life and the lives of your friends and family. They may be people in your community, at work, at school, in your church or social group.

What's the prize?

The 250 inspirational kiwis who receive the most votes will earn $1 return airfares for themselves and a companion to travel within New Zealand. They can choose to travel to any of our 26 dometic destinations.

My mum raised her own 3 children on her own, Then 6 years ago my brother passed away a year later his partner also passed away with cancer
My mother was left to raised my brother and his partner 2 children at the time were age 2 and 3.
My mum is 61 years old the children are now 8 and 9
My mum struggles and sometimes isn’t the best of health but my sister and I try and support her as much as possible
And give the children as much love as possible. They don’t have flash shoes and clothes and the latest toys but they are loved
My mum goes on all the school trips to help and she helps with the sausage sizzle each week at school, each Saturday morning
You find her running up and down the soccer field encouraging the 9 year old.
Christmas is never flash but we make it the best we can. I can’t afford to spoil my mum so please help me
