Vote for Kihana
I would like to nominate my young cousin Kihana Joanne Wharakura, she is still in her 20's and has suffered so much loss in the past few years, in 2007 she lost her beloved mummy-nana (april), mother in law(june) and her beautiful mother -Kihana(august) and then in 2008 when all looked promising for her, she tragically lost her 11week old son, on the 1st anniversary of Mummy-nana's passing... then in august she lost her grandmother(in law) and to make matters worse for Kihana and her siblings, they have just found out that there father, my uncle, has an aggressive form of cancer. I don't know how she has managed to stay so strong for her older 2 girls, but she has. she is an amazing woman!

What are the grabbies?
As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.

What's the prize?
The 250 inspirational kiwis who receive the most votes will earn $1 return airfares for themselves and a companion to travel within New Zealand. They can choose to travel to any of our 26 dometic destinations.

I have recently lost my Mum and am still struggling, so I cant even imagine what Kihana must be going through. I see her some days when we drop our daughters at Kindy and she never fails to give a beautiful smile. To go through what she has in the past two years and be able to hold it together, she is amazing and a true inspiration.
This is an amazing person, who has tragically suffered more than others in such a short period of time. I happily give my vote.
