My Mother Veneeta

I wish to nominate my mother Veneeta, a 47 year old widow who lost her husband, my sister and I’s father, unexpectedly overnight to meningococcal septicaemia after 20+ year’s of marriage.
Not knowing anything else apart from her family and loving husband, this loss proved to be unimaginable to the family and has brought us closer together than we could have ever imagined.
Having fought her emotions and the turmoil’s that life can often bring, this prize would allow her to journey to a place where she can make the most of a much needed break from work and the winter chills of Wellington.
Please vote for my mother as I feel that this would offer a sense of joy in her life that has not been there since the passing of her beloved husband and loving father of her two children.
