Vote for Susan
I'd like to introduce my mum Susan (age unknown - she won't tell me !).
She was widowed due to a car accident when us kids were 7, 5 and 3. I don't know how she held it together but somehow, she did. We nearly lost everything but never knew it, she was always positive throughout the struggle that was our childhoods.
We never had anything flash, second hand everything, but she was always there when we needed her. Every school play, sports game, you name it she was there .
Now I'm working she drives right across town 2 days a week to look after my 3 kiddies. She takes care of my 3 3/4 and 2yr olds and does the school run for Mr 5 1/2, even making them dinner and doing washing if required, cool aye!!
I can see she loves them so much and I'm so grateful for everything she does for us, I just wish there was something I could do to show her how much we appreciate all she does, as we are unable to pay her.
Please vote for my mum, she is such a loving person, her and my stepdad really deserve some time together somewhere nice. They’ve only gone away together once in the last 10 years, and that on honeymoon!!
I know she would really appreciate it and as you have read, I don't think you could find a more deserving person if you tried!!

What are the grabbies?
As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.

I was moved by your story.. I am a mother of 4 and its amazing how we over come the most challenging circumstances in life.. It is her children and grandchildren that drives her strength and gives her reason..
I feel your mum deserves to be rewarded just for being her..
