Vote for Natasha
Natasha has had a pretty tough few years working through her PhD at Massey uni. In the last year or so, she's had to work through the death of her dad (managing the finances and legal implications), ill health (living with diabetes) and yet continue with her experiments (which drive her crazy with odd results) and thesis all at the same time while not being able to earn much after years of study at university. I'd like her to be able to visit her mum up in Auckland and spend a few quality days with her family and to get away from it all for a little while.
Throughout all this she's always been a great friend, generous to a fault and a wonderful person. She's one of those amazing people who always has a smile and a quick quip to cheer up a glum face and seems to know heaps of people who greet her enthusiastically.
So please vote for her and say thanks too!

Hang in their - it's a long and lonely road but the rewards will come. Keep smiling and deal with those everyday challenges as they arise. My daughter is also starting her PhD next year so she will have to contend with similar issues. Best wishes for Grabbies 08. You have my vote.
