What are the grabbies?

As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.

You can nominate or vote for those inspirational kiwis making a difference in your life and the lives of your friends and family. They may be people in your community, at work, at school, in your church or social group.

What's the prize?

The 250 inspirational kiwis who receive the most votes will earn $1 return airfares for themselves and a companion to travel within New Zealand. They can choose to travel to any of our 26 dometic destinations.

Never been on a plane,

Vote for Cannon's Creek School
We would like to nominate a child from Cannons Creek School, Porirua. We'd like Air New Zealand to donate the flight to a special child who has never been on a plane before.

We found out about this school on the KidsCan charity website where the school Principal wrote to thank KidsCan for the donation of raincoats to pupils of this school who are from very low income families. We are inspired by KidsCan and would like to nominate a child to recognise the great work that KidsCan is doing.

The Principal at Cannons Creek School said how some of the year 9 and 10 children at the school had never been to the movies. The chance to go on a plane to anywhere in New Zealand that they chose would be a really exciting one-off opportunity for one of these kids. (We will leave it up to the school to choose which child)
