Hi There

I’m writing to nominate my Mum for the “Inspirational Kiwi’s” competition. I think she’s the best Mum around and not only to my brother and I but she helps sooo many others!

· Growing up our home was something of a halfway and she even set up a youth group for all the street kids. She’s given a lot to the community and volunteers as Hospital Chaplain and at local rest homes. She’s also a soldier in the Salvation Army and is always volunteering to help others

· Both Mum and Dad are retired and have only the superannuation benefit to live on, yet they will go without to help others and they even have my brother & I staying at the moment while we save for a house!

Mum’s health has declined a lot over the last year and I think she really deserves a break away. She rarely complains and keeps that smile and listening ear going for everyone else. She’s my hero and I can only hope and aspire to be as much of an angel on this earth as she is. If there were more Mums like her around, the world would be a great place!
