I think my Pete deserves a holiday because...
(a) He is a poor student who needs a break away after exams before the long summer of seasonal labour begins.
(b) He is really funny/ridiculously good looking/supportive/lovely/generous to everyone
(c) Spending the whole summer in Invercargill is not conducive to a good tan
(d) He needs to take his girlfriend on a holiday
(e) The student allowance is not yet universal and any sort of travel is so far out of reaach without it!
