I'd love to nominate my Mum who is the best.

10 years ago she lost the love of her life, my dad, who past away within 3 months of been diagnosed with cancer. To cope with her loss she buried herself in helping others thru the International Club of Lions. Then 5 years later anoher cruel blow, her daughter was killed in a tragic motor accident. Though coping with 2 major loses she has spent countless hours all volunteer fundraising and organising other Lions clubs to grow their membership. Some of these clubs would of dissappeared without her, meaning no support for smaller communities. At 1 stage I almost had to make an appointment to call my mum as she is rarely home. To add to that she volunteers at the local High School arranging for International students to come to NZ
to experience our fantastic Kiwi life.
My mum lives in a small town Oamaru which has recently had Air NZ start to fly in and out of there and with me living in Nelson we'd love to spend more time together as we both realise how precious time is.
