I nominate my mum Asha, it’s her 50th birthday coming up in November and she has never been to the south island yet keeps dreaming one day that she will get there however that one day just hasn’t come.
My mum has done so much for us kids, pretty much living her life for us…running around after us when we were growing up. She was a stay at home mum and didn’t go back to work as she felt giving up her working life for her kids was more important.
My mum watches the “south island” scenery in Indian Hindi movies and says every time that she wishes she can just be amongst it all. Beautiful mountain ranges to the amazing colours of the surrounding lakes. I want for her and my father to enjoy the exquisite beauty the South Island has to offer as they are they only ones in our family who are missing out on the treasure that sits within our country.

What are the grabbies?
As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.
You can nominate or vote for those inspirational kiwis making a difference in your life and the lives of your friends and family. They may be people in your community, at work, at school, in your church or social group.

What's the prize?
The 250 inspirational kiwis who receive the most votes will earn $1 return airfares for themselves and a companion to travel within New Zealand. They can choose to travel to any of our 26 dometic destinations.
