My friend Christine is a great friend mother and wife. Almost 3 years ago she lost her husband to cancer and has 2 young kids to bring up on her own.
It’s been a really long road for her – one that we don’t expect at the age of 38 – and becoming a widow. Christines kids are Kyle and Gemma and they are both busy normal kids who run their Mum around – as they all do!! However they were only 2 and 6 when their Dad died – so they are all sharing in this horrible grief together.
This nomination is on from all Christines girlfriends – as we know how hard it is for Christine to also make ends meet as a single Mother. She is living week to week and to have the chance to take to flight somewhere in NZ would be awesome for her – and to have a nice break away with a friend or family member.
We love you Chrisso and think you’re doing a great job bringing up the kids on your own.
