Vote for Joy
I would like to nominate a Wife, Mum, Grandmother and Business Woman. My Mum Joy is a true inspiration to people she meets and talks to. She has worked hard like most Kiwi's do in this country but I think what defines her is that she has been LOYAL to her customers in her business. From 16 years of age she left school to work in a local jewellery shop. 50 years on, she now owns the business. No hand-outs from her parents...just plain old-fashioned hard work!
Like most honest Kiwi families my Mum made time to support community projects like Keep NZ Beautiful as well as support my brother and I in our respective "in school" and "out of school" activities. She did the cooking, baking, sewing, looking after us when we were sick, tucking you into bed after that last bed-time story and most of all...she helped us through the turmoil of becoming teenagers! She did all this and more while holding down the same job for 50 years. Not many people out that can say they have been in the SAME job for 50 years.
So vote for Joy and give her a break...she deserves to enjoy her retirement now!

What are the grabbies?
As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, we want to show what makes us special by giving away 500 return $1 airfares to kiwis making a difference in our lives.
You can nominate or vote for those inspirational kiwis making a difference in your life and the lives of your friends and family. They may be people in your community, at work, at school, in your church or social group.

What's the prize?
The 250 inspirational kiwis who receive the most votes will earn $1 return airfares for themselves and a companion to travel within New Zealand. They can choose to travel to any of our 26 dometic destinations.

I have known Joy for about 30 years and can vouch for all that Sandra has been said.
Joy has also worked hard for her grandchildren as well, encouraging them in all they do. The laughter is great too.
