Wendy is truly a unique caring individual. She has in her diary everyone's birthday at work and always gives a gift of acknowledgement. Her role is primary care GP liaison nurse for our clients with schizophrenia. Her work with clients and their families is phenomenal, and she received a certificate award form schizophrenia fellowship families to show this. Wendy is the person that volunteers to go to outside work hours to a number of family/ consumer run meetings.
Wendy volunteers to coach netball and the girls absolutely love her, she is also aunty Wendy to many children who light up when they see her, including my 9yr old son Kalle. She always gives him positive feedback on his achievements at school. To top this of , this super lady helps care for her aging mum, many weekends, so that her Dad can fish and take time out for himself. She is a community influence. You name it and Wendy is there , raising money for cancer, doing flowers for weddings, homework assistance for son at Uni. We all love her to bits and I hope she can receive a token to show our appreciation of the things she does.
